In recognition of the Year of the Surf Lifesaver, the Royal Australian Mint is pleased to release this outstanding 2007 Proof Year Set.

Surf Lifesaving is an integral part of the Australian beach scene and as an organistaion has over 113,000 members and saved over 500,000 lives around Australia.

The 2007 Uncirulated Year Set will feature a classical surf livesaving image on the 20 cent coin - the image of a female lifesaver with a rope line held above her head. The 20 cent coin will not be available in the 2007 Proof Year Set.
