& Co. is established 1939 in Czechoslovakia (Bratislava).
Started retail business and eventually expanded into wholesale.
In 1945 concentrated on world wide export business and
established new contacts. |

as a store for accessories and bulk stocks.

Over the
years Max Stern has successfully applied for 22 agencies
which include: U.S., G.B., Canada, P.R.C., Singapore, Channel
Islands, Sweden, Austria, Papua New Guinea, Israel and
New Zealand.

The company
has been under the personal management
of Max Stern since 1939 and he is still actively involved
in the day to day running of the business.

In 1974
Mr. Sam Seigel, Chartered Accountant, joined the company
and was appointed Managing - Director in 1984.

1999 awarded AM (member of the order of Australia)

Max Stern
was the first person in Australia to be acknowledged
as a valuer for the 'Committee on Taxation Incentives
for the Arts'. The company now employs 13 full time staff.
