The stamp that can be saved as a digital image within the Ethereum Blockchain. This means that you can not only use the Crypto stamp to send an item by post, but also functions as your personal virtual collectible.
The digital pendant is stored in the Blockchain, a special type of decentralized data storage. There it is kept in a digital Wallet over which the stamp’s owner holds the exclusive rights.
David Gruber designed the stamps. Variuscard printed them by a combination of offset, screen printing, hot-foil stamping and thermal-transfer printing on environmentally friendly cardboard.
Each new €7 stamp was printed in a quantity of 60,000, or a total of 240,000 for the four designs.
The virtual version of the stamp is available in five different colours of varying quantities.

How it works:
Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera or a QR code app. Alternatively, go to Crypto.post.at, select the “Wallet” tab and enter code . Now you can see the unique digital version of your stamp. You can find your digital Crypto stamp 2.0 in a preconfigured Wallet. You can look at the Blockchain to see who is the owner of any specific Crypto stamp 2.0. This serves as an irrefutable certificate of authenticity allowing you to prove that you are the current owner of this collectible.
Go to Crypto.post.at and select the “Wallet” tab. Here you can create a collection of Crypto stamps, add to the collection and transfer stamps to other owners. For this you need what’s known as the Secret Word List. You can see this when you scratch off code  located under the security sticker. Keep this code safe and don’t share it with anyone – it’s the password for accessing your Crypto stamps. Take care: if you lose those code, it can not be recovered.
