Royal Mail's new issue to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic British sitcom "Blackadder", featuring some of the show's most memorable moments. 

Blackadder is a historical comedy series that follows the misadventrues of Edmund Blackadder, a hapless nobleman who always seems to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. The show was created by Robinson, Hugh Laurie, and Stephen Fry. Blackadder was a critical and commercial success, and is considered one of the greatest British sticoms of all time.

The stamps capture Rowan Atkinson in the title role alongside some of the best-loved supporting characters – including Baldrick, Queen Elizabeth I, Lord Percy and Prince George.
