This coin was officially issued by the Government of Niue, marking seventy-five years since Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson assumed the mantle of leadership. It is the first legal-tender coin to bear the portrait of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Each coin in this distinguished limited edition is crafted with master artisanship, in proof quality and high relief. Struck in one troy ounce of .999 pure refined silver. The mintage is strictly limited to 5,786 silver coins. Furthermore, the silver from which the coins are minted includes a blessed Dime distributed by the Rebbe himself, received directly from his holy hands, thereby giving the coins a direct link and connection to his blessing and the spreading of his light.
